My senior cat is vomiting daily for two weeks. What's wrong?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 11 lbs

My 14 year old cat has been vomiting a little bit each day for two weeks. Generally he doesn't vomit. He eats Purina Pro Plan for cats 7+. He grooms himself a lot. Wondering about a hairball?

Hairballs are one possibility but pretty low in the list of possible causes. some more common condition include pancreatitis, IBD, lymphoma and kidney failure. i strongly recommend that you take Arthur to the vet in order to get it checked, a blood test will probably be necessary.
