Hello,I recently started taking my puppy to the vet when she turned 8 weeks. I'm a freshman in college and I'm still living with parent and I don't work so it's hard for me to pay for it but I don't want my puppy to get sick. I told the vet I just wanted the vaccines necessary for her not to get sick the bill was jaw dropping. I searched up if they were the core vaccines but they weren't. I don't know who to trust. I would like to know which vaccines are core. And which aren't.

Core vaccines typically consist of parvo, distemper, adenovirus and rabies. Bordetella is not considered a core vaccine and some other vaccines may be considered core in the area you live in depending on what diseases are endemic to the area. Vaccines are typically given up to 16-20 weeks of age and 3 weeks apart for every round of boosters. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
