What should I use to sooth the throat of my 10 lb pomapoo - I think he has a sore throat from a bout of tracheal collapse? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 10 lbs

I would have Teddy examined by your veterinarian before giving him any medication. Coughing in dogs can be caused by tracheal collapse, but that tends to affected older animals predominantly. Coughing can also be caused by infection, or ingestion of foreign material, or allergies.
