My 6-year-old cat is hissing, biting, scratching. How to stop it?

I have a Calico cross cat aged 6. Lately she has been hissing biting and scratching. I am seriously debating on having her put down. Both my cats are indoor cats. How can I stop this from continuing? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 7 years and 1 month old | 8 lbs

Is she biting and scratching you or the other cat? This sounds like something has changed and she is stressed. I strongly suggest you visit this website (Feliway) and purchase some of their products. The website has good cat behavior information and the products are basically "happy cat" pheromones that help to mellow cats out. Of course it won't work for every cat but I have had many respond favorably to this treatment.
