Why is my cat lethargic but still eating and using the litter box?

my cat 2 1/2 yrs old listlessness doesn't want to be bothered acts sick but she eats and uses the catbox ok.... Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 5 months old | 17 lbs

Hi and thanks for your post. I'm happy to hear Bella is eating and using her litter box okay. Listless would mean she is fatigued or lethargic which may indicate she has a medical problem. It is hard to say what exactly may cause this without examining her first, but if this has been occurring for a few days and not getting better, I would take her into see her veterinarian soon. Endocrine disorders such a diabetes or organ dysfunction can cause fatigue. Infectious diseases such as FIV and Feline Leukemia are other possibilities.
