My puppy of 4 months started throwing up and not drinking or eating. I took him to the vet and they gave him cerenia and antibiotics. Hes only drinking now. How do i get him to start drinking.

Keep offering different types of foods, but try to avoid anything with a lot of sugar or fat in it to avoid further upsetting Chronic's stomach. You can try boiled chicken breast, cooked white rice, scrambled eggs cooked without oil, or baby food (check that it doesn't include onions or garlic). If he doesn't start eating better in 24 hours, though, he may need to be re-evaluated. Possible causes of vomiting in a puppy include intestinal parasites, bacterial or viral infection (including parvo virus), intestinal blockage, food allergies, among a few others.
