Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 24 days old
So We just rescued a male kitten that hasn't had any of his shots and his birthday is 4/20. He is living at my friends due to the fact I have two cats already and both of the are worm free and the kitten is being treated for them. I plan on bringing him to the vet but I have no idea what shots he will need or how much it will cost. We are moving soon and would like him to move in with us then. Should I keep the cats apart until he gets all his shots and he gets fixed

So for a kitten this age, I would first recommend a feline leukemia/fiv test prior to bringing him home with your own kitties. This is a blood test that the vet's office can do to test for these diseases that are contagious to other cats. The kitten will then need a rabies vaccine, a feline distemper vaccine, and a feline leukemia vaccine if he will ever be going outdoors or around other cats that go outdoors. The feline distemper and feline leukemia vaccine will need to be boostered 3 to 4 weeks after the initial vaccination. The vaccines will then be good for one year. The price will vary by the vet office but you can always call them and ask for pricing information.
