My cat has a red circle with grey bumps on its skin. What is it?

It is difficult to tell from the pictures, but it looks like the red area is raised which makes me worry that it is a mass. I would recommend having your veterinarian evaluate it. They will likely take a small sample of cells with a needle and evaluate it under the microscope to determine what it is and what to do about it.
