My dog threw up blood once, seems okay but won't eat. Is it serious?

My dog is moping around he throw up blood only once, stomach kinda hard. He went out side ran with me an played and seemed happy, he ain't really ate, it's been like 2 3 hour n ain't threw up. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 30 lbs

Vomiting blood can be serious. If may be from something he ate, a stomach ulcer or an infection. I would withhold food and water for tonight since he is vomiting to let his stomach rest. You can feed chicken and rice tomorrow and if he does not eat, continues to vomit ir starts with diarrhea then he needs to be seen by your vet
