Is it safe to release a healthy, formerly stray kitten outdoors?

What are the odds of survival for a stray kitten who has been taken indoors for healing his illness after being released outdoors again? He was found about 3 months ago and has been taken care of indoors ever since. He's completely healthy now. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 6 lbs

If he seems healthy now then the chance of survival is good. Although, there is always a chance he gets exposed to an infectious disease and/or trauma if he is outside, again. Make sure he is up to date on all vaccines, especially if he is going to be put outside again.
