Pet's info: Dog | Great Dane | Female | spayed | 120 lbs
My Great Dane cut her paw on glass two weeks ago. We cleaned it and didn't see any glass in her paw. Now two weeks later she is still limping and her toe is swollen and reddish. She wasn't limping this bad after she first cut her paw. There is no open cut or sore anymore. What should I do? I cannot afford a vet visit at this time due to we are recovering financially from hurricane Harvey... any advice will help. Thanks Texas dog lover

It may have healed over a piece of glass that is migrating and forming an abscess or it may just be infected. There is nothing you can do at home since it is already healed. You can try to soak it in warm water to see if it helps but ultimately your vet needs to examine it and see what is going and what medicine is needed
