My poodle has a red, swollen eye with yellow discharge. What can I do?

What can I give my poodle who woke up with an eye infection? Left eye: red sclera, yellow discharge, slightly swollen.

You can flush the eye with saline eye drops to keep it clean and get the discharge out. You can also apply a warm compress. It seem infected and will likely need antibiotic drops or drops with steroids if there is no ulcer present.
