Why is my active cat suddenly weak, sleeping, not eating, and cut?

hello, recently my cat has been sleeping all day and having random cuts appear on him. at the moment he has a cut on his bottom lip. It cannot be due to fighting because he stays inside and sleeps all day. He used to be a very active cat and begged to go outside so it is unusual of him to be acting this way. He seems to be very weak and only gets up to eat very little of his food. What could be the problem? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 lbs

I would recommend he be evaluated by a veterinarian to determine what may be causing him to feel ill. Lethargy and weakness with skin issues may be due to a virus, an infection, an autoimmune disease, or another underlying issue. I would have him seen, have any necessary testing done (bloodwork, X-rays) and get started on any treatment he may need to get him back to his old self! Good luck!
