My dog's ear is bleeding after a dog fight. Does she need a vet?

Hello, I My Pet Got In A Small Fight With Another Dog That Was In Heat, And Shes Bleeding At Her Ear Some, Should I Bring Her To A Vet?

You can try to stop the bleeding on Baby Bell's ear with gentle pressure, but I do think going to vet is best. I'm not sure how long or deep the wound is, but it may need stitches to help it heal. Also, she will likely need antibiotics to prevent infection from the bite.

    Without being able to see the ear, I can't say for certain whether he needs to see a vet or not. In general, ear flap wounds tend to bleed a lot but there often isn't much to be done other than hold pressure on them to stop the bleeding and wait for them to heal. The wound may need stitches if there is a large laceration in the ear flap, but if it's quite small (less than 1 cm), it probably won't need any special treatment. If you opt not to go to the vet, then you will need to keep the area clean and monitor for signs of infection such as swelling, redness around the wound, or any green or yellow discharge - if any of these signs are seen, Cocoa should be seen by a vet since he may need an antibiotic.
