My dog is vomiting often and has diarrhea. When should I worry?

Hello my terrier mix has vomited at least 6 times and has had diarrhea twice all within the last 9 hours. He hasn't thrown up recently but he did just have a loose stool. His temperature was normal when checked a few hours ago. No blood in either vomit or stools. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | 20 lbs

Poor Bear! You could withhold food for the day and then try some boiled chicken and white rice and see if that helps. If he starts vomiting again, the diarrhea does not resolve in the next day, or he becomes lethargic than he needs to be seen by your vet. Your vet can run lab work and take x-rays, if needed, to help diagnose and then prescribe medicine to help with the vomiting and diarrhea. Hope he feels better soon!
