My dog won't eat, vomits water, and vets can't find the cause.

Pet's info: Dog | Cairn Terrier | Female | spayed | 16 lbs

Sasha is a 7 year old Cairn Terrier. She's always been very active and has a great appetite. For the last two weeks, she has stopped eating entirely and we are losing her. She drinks a lot of water and then throws up. Been to two vets. Bloodwork at first said kidneys, etc. looked great. Said she has a swollen spleen. Gave antibiotic and med for vomiting. She got worse. 2nd vet guesses ulcer, gives Pepcid and a liquid antibiotic. She won't hold down either. Help?

Poor Sasha, if she is vomiting this badly she needs to be hospitalised and treated with intravenous fluids with injectable medications as oral medications will not be effective. IT would also be recommended to identify the cause of the vomiting - an xray for possible obstructions and ultrasound or blood tests for pancreatitis may also required
