Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 7 lbs

hi, my dog has been diagnosed with parvo. we couldn't afford to pay 1500-3500 for treatment at the vet so we tried to take care of him at home. he is a 9 week old german shepherded mix. he was diagnosed with parvo, 6 days ago. the first day, he couldn't get up and play at all. day 2, he started playing and eating and drinking well. but, the back of his spine is very very thin. until now, he is playing and eating very good. his poop sample result was negative for everything, which is good.

Well done in nursing him through this, but I am not sure quite what your query is. Parvo causes significant injury to lining of the intestine and takes up to 6-8weeks to fully recover and regain weight. Continue to feed small meals of a bland diet and once 72hours of no vomiting/diarrhea introduce a highly digestible, intestinal diet such as royal canin intestinal junior for 3weeks in order to promote recovery and repair
