Why is my cat peeing brown, losing weight, and not eating?

my 2 year old female cat is urinating outside of her litter box, has brown urine and weight loss. she is eating but not as much as usual.

HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Daisy! Daisy could have a urinary tract infection, but most animals do not lose weight with that. I recommend that you take her to your Vet first thing tomorrow. They should get blood work to check her kidney, liver and blood sugar and test her urine for infection or crystals. They may want to take a belly X-ray to check for bladder stones. Sometimes the urine can be discolored if they have bilirubin in the urine. Cats that are jaundiced are very sick. Check the whites of her eyes, her ears and that thin area of hair above the eyes. If it looks yellow then she should see a vet today. i wish you the best and a speedy recovery for Daisy
