I don't think she will from eating 2 grapes but every dog responds differently to certain toxins. Even though you gave the peroxide to induce vomiting you should still get her to the vet. The vet will administer activated charcoal which will help absorb the toxins before they get picked up by the blood stream. They can also keep her on IV fluids for 24-48 hours to help keep the kidneys flushed out. That is what I would do if this was my dog. Here is a good article regarding this topic to give you more information. I hope this helps! https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/grape-raisin-and-currant-poisoning-in-dogs

She cannot die from hydrogen peroxide even though the oesophagus can get very inflamed. Unfortunately there is no toxic dosage for it and even one grape can cause severe side effects. If she does not vomit the grape I would recommend to have Nena checked by your local veterinarian. Your vet can give some meds to relieve gastro-oesophageal irritation and protect it from peroxide. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.

Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Grapes can be very toxic to dogs. It really depends on how many were eaten though some dogs, especially small dogs, can have a toxicity with a small amount of grapes. If this happened within the last hour, your veterinarian could still induce vomiting on Wuppie to see if you can retrieve the ingested grapes. Using hydrogen peroxide is not recommended as that can affect the esophagus. Grapes can result in kidney failure and this toxicity is very serious. Usually, affected dogs are hospitalized for treatment and very carefully monitored. I recommend you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Keeping my fingers crossed for a speedy recovery!

Even one grape can cause acute kidney failure in small dogs, you need to take her to the vet urgently so they can give her an injection to induce vomiting, unlike the peroxide method which i definitely do not recommend, it works 100% of the time.

No, do not give peroxide. The reason is that H2O2 can and does cause severe esophagitis and gastritis, often worse than the initial problem, so it's always preferred to advise emergency care. There is no known safe amount of grapes for dogs to eat. There is always a possibility of kidney failure. The (major) problem with treating these guys is that you don't know if it's going to cause kidney failure until it's too late. They don't act different or ill until they are life threateningly ill. The only way to treat them is to go to the clinic, make her vomit if it was within an hour or maybe 2, then keep her on IV fluids for a day or two. And some dogs can eat grapes without any problems. We just don't know how each individual will react. So I know that's not the most helpful answer, but that's the more accurate one we have. You can chance it and do nothing and there is a good chance everything will be fine, or you can take her to the clinic immediately for hospitalization. Good luck!
