My cat has yellow discharge from her bum, is it serious?

My 2yr old female cat is an indoor/outdoor cat, i noticed some yellowy beige stuff running from her bum, she seems healthy and happy otherwise, could this be diahrea or something else

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yellow/beige could be diarrhea, but it also could be pus. Either way, it is not normal. I recommend taking Chip to the vet to look for an abscess. This needs to be treated with antibiotics and pain medications. Good luck and kisses to Chip!
