My cat is mouth breathing with fluid discharge. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Cat | Oriental | Male | neutered | 3 years and 9 months old | 13 lbs

My oriental cat is having a bad case of rhino,fluids block his nose respiratory and he is breathing thru his mouth with lots of water like fluid dripping from mouth nose and eyes. Emergency vet here miss diagnostic him for gastric effects from the antibiotics. Wich i think could of been an issu but is not his current struggle. How long can he go mouth breathing or and what can i do to help him? Is his life in danger?

Open mouth breathing is always a concern in cats, steam therapy with Vicks or olbas oil and gentle cleaning and flushing of the nostrils with warm saline can also help. I strongly recommend you get him rechecked by your own vet as soon as possible
