My cat's fur is oily, she won't eat, and is acting strangely. What's wrong?

My cat has an oily, wet substance all over her,hasn't eaten and is turning her back to everything looking with her head. What is wrong?

It sounds as if Meeko has gotten into something, potentially amsomething toxic that is making her act abnormally. First, I would recommend bathing her to try and remove whatever oilynsubstance she has gotten on her coat. If it is something toxic and she tries to lick it off it could make her sicker. Continue to try to feed her and keep her as comfortable as possible. If she is still not eating after 48 hours you may want to consider taking her to the vet. If Meeko starts acting even more abnormally, starts vomiting and/or having diarrhea or if she has seizures (a common side effect of some toxins) then she will need to be see by your vet.
