When can my spayed cat play vigorously and get a bath after surgery?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | spayed | 8 months and 28 days old | 6.83 lbs

My cat loves to play vigorously. She stops only when she starts to pant. But due to spaying I stopped her from playing vigorously. We play with her but lighly so that her incision site will not get stretched or hurt. She was spayed on 19th August and her stitches were removed on 30th August. So my question is how many more days should I stop her from playing vigorously. And when should i start bathing her?

I would wait a full two weeks before allowing Zoii to play vigorously so I think you can start allowing her to play normally again soon. You should be able to bathe her now that her sutures are removed as long as her incision has healed well.
