My Labrador puppy has "pre-parvo." Is it serious? Should I adopt?

I am considering getting a Labrador puppy and he has been diagnosed with " pre-parvo" and I'm sure how serious this is.. Should I still consider the puppy and get him treatment? Eric

I would assume they mean 'pre-parvo' to refer to the fact that they are not yet fully vaccinated for parvo virus, which would be normal at 3 months of age. So it is very good to be careful with hygiene and exposure to other dogs at this age but does not indicate disease. I would check with the breeder to ensure this is what they mean, but I believe they are just being appropriately cautious! I hope this helps!
