My cat is crying and has discharge. Is she in labor or miscarrying?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 2 years old

Could my cat have a season 2 months ago possibly become pregnant then have another season 1 month later because I think she might be in labour she's crying and growling and producing a whitish discharge. Or is it more probable she became pregnant 1 month ago and is having a miscarriage

Please have Bella assessed urgently by your vet to determine if she is in true labour as there may be a kitten stuck which is an emergency for both mother and kitten. Severe cystitis or a miscarriage are also possibilities and she requires urgent pain relief

I would recommend to contact your local veterinarian as this could be a sign of miscarriage and immediate intervention may be needed. Discuss with your local veterinarian a possible consultation.
