My rescue cat has a weird nose, leaky eyes, and bloody boogers. Vet?

My cat's nose looks weird. It looks almost like dried snot, but it never seems to go away. His eyes also leak and i have to wipe boogers out of them every day. Yesterday, his nose was bleeding a tiny bit (like a bloody booger) and it concerns me. He came from a dirty rescue environment, and I'm worried that there might be some permanent damage from that. Is this worrisome enough to take him to a vet? Money is EXTREMELY tight but i want him to be taken care of if you think it's something serious. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10 years and 5 months old

If he is all else is normal, you can try over the counter lysine- often sold at pharmacies and pet stores. It is an antiviral and can help for upper respiratory viruses. If this is a new finding and he seems not to feel well, it would be safer to take him in.... I would also take a warm washcloth and gently exfoliate his nose and continue to keep his eyes clean as you have. I hope this helps!
