My puppy has bloody poop and scratches his butt. Could it be worms?

My new puppy keeps doing drops of blood and scratching his butt, his poop is very small could it be parasite's? theres no worms or is it something else? what should i do?

Even if you are not seeing worms that doesn't rule out the possibility of intestinal worms. Often we do not see the actual worm. I would strongly recommend a visit to the vet and bring your freshest stool sample with you for testing. There could be worms (they will check the stool under the microscope for the worm eggs) or protozoal parasites like coccidia or giardia present. If the stools turns loose or lethargy/vomiting/anorexia occur we also worry about parvo virus.
