My 2-week-old kitten has a swollen leg, isn't eating, and is weak. What to do?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 0.6 lbs

Fostering kitten for about 2 weeks. She was doing great other than the scab that has formed on her from the umbillaical cord, and missing a couple poos. Yesturday, We found that her left arm was completely swollen, and she doesn't use it at all. called the vet, but they said since she is so small, taking her to the vet would be too stressful for her so we should keep at home. Today her paw is completely limp and she is weaker and not as motivated to eat.Vet said same thing. Im afraid, what to do

I'm sorry to hear your kitten is not doing well. Despite her size and age, I would recommend she be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. The swelling in her leg could be due to infection, a congenital issue, trauma or another underlying issue. She needs to be eating regularly in order to maintain adequate blood sugar levels and grow. Good luck!
