My female cat bled and growled, then stopped. What's going on?

My female cat is discharging little drips of blood and growling softly. But the dripping of blood has stop. She just sleeping niw. Whats wrong with her? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 5 lbs

I am sorry to hear Sydney isn't feeling well. Without seeing her, it is very hard to say what's going on. It also depends on where she is dripping from. If it is from her vulva she is probably in heat, and the growling is from all the hormones. If she's dropping blood from somewhere else she is probably in pain. I recommend taking her to the vet to find the source of the blood and treat the problem. Good luck and kisses to Sydney!
