Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sorry Finkik is sick! The licking of the nose is common before cat's vomit. It is likely a sign of nausea. I do not think the air conditioner has anything to do with her current vomiting problem. I do think you should get the chemistry done to be sure she doesn't have any other problems. All cats cry when they are restrained for blood work. She likely wasn't hurt just annoyed. If you do not want to take her to the Vet again then call your vet and ask for a course of antinausea pills and 2 weeks of an antacid for the stomach thickening. I would also ask them to give you prescription canned food that is easy on the stomach like Hill's i/d or royal canin gastro-intestinal. Then feed her the food as small frequent meals. My thoughts are Finkik either has a foreign body stuck in her stomach or intestines or has inflammatory bowel disease. If the above course of treatment doesn't work I recommend you pursue repeat X-rays of her bell and/or an ultrasound of her belly. If she has inflammatory bowel disease I would recommend steroids and changing her diet to a new protein ((example change from chicken to venison, salmon or duck or a prescription hydrolyzed diet). I wish you and Finkik the best of luck!
