Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female | 2 lbs
2 days ago we traveled a 6 hour trip with both my male and female African grey parrot. We were in a hot humid climate and traveled to a dry mountain climate. The female parrot looked weak and was dozzing off/sleeping all day since we arrived to the mountain city. She ate sunflower seeds, apple, and cucumber and drank water. Today, she started to vomit a clear liquid. Please help me I am super worried about her, i dont have a vet around. also do i need to sperate her from the male parrot?

I am sorry Joy is not feeling well. Birds can be easily stressed and it is possible the long drive caused her anxiety and stress. I would not recommend separating the two birds because they are use to being today. I would try to decrease any additional stress to Joy. It is hard to say for sure in regards to the vomiting. IF she is in a new cage/with new things she could regurgitating behaviorally to mark things are hers. However if she is in the same cage and with old toys she could be actually vomiting. I would recommend if she continues to vomit/not feel well to take her to a vet to make sure she is doing okay. Changes in diet, location and even climates can cause upper respiratory infections, sinus infections, and other illnesses.. I hope this helps! Thank for using pet coach
