My guinea pig is breathing hard, quiet, and not eating. What's wrong?

My guinea pig is breathing hard but not makeing loud breathing noises and has no other cold-type of symptoms. No runny eyes or nose, no coughing or sneezing. He is not interested in his veggies, only eats grass and hay and feed. He is not as active and he is quiet too. What could be wrong? Pet's info: Exotic | Unknown - Exotic | Male | unneutered

This is probably due to a gastrointestinal problem, either a bloat or food stasis that is causing abdominal pain. you will need to take Sammy to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked and treated as this can be life threatening.
