Hello, & thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. You do not indicate how old the kitten is, but I usually recommend spaying about 2 weeks after the kittens are fully weaned ( usually at 6-8 weeks). If the kitten is on full feed & can be away from his mother for a full 24 hours, then she can be spayed. The 2 weeks just allow the breast tissue to recede a bit & helps with surgery. Thank you.

Since the kittens are 8 weeks old, the mom should be weaning them soon, if she hasn't already. I recommend waiting about 8 weeks before spaying a cat after she has kittens, so now is perfect timing! She may go back into heat again soon, so I would call your vet ASAP to get her scheduled!
