Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 12 days old | 3 lbs
My cat is 5 mohths mostly indoor sometimes outdoor. This afternoon I noticed his face is very swollen on the left side under his eye. With time, the swelling is going down slowly. He doesn't flinch when i touch it out show signs of pain or discomfort. Appetite and behavior is normal for him. He does have a habit like most kittens of playing with bugs and such. What could this swelling be and what can I do?

If the swelling is going away on its own I would just continue to monitor. It likely was an insect bite or sting. If you notice any squinting of his eye, pain or the swelling recurs then a vet visit may be needed.
