My dog has diarrhea, isn't eating, and drooling. What to do?

My dog has had diarrhea and not eating much for about a week now he's drooling a lot just drinking water he has all his shots and king loves to dig and chew on anything.He sniffs everything what do I do? Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 82 lbs

HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Since this has been going on for a week I think it is time for King to see his Vet. He could be drooling because he is nauseous. Causes for diarrhea and a poor appetite are: viral and bacterial infections, dietary indiscretion, foreign bodies, intestinal parasites, metabolic conditions (kidney or liver problems), toxins or food sensitivities. I think he needs medications to help the diarrhea and nausea. You can try to feed him a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice as small frequent meals. Feed about 3 1/2 cups total per day. I wish you and King the best of luck!
