My dog has hives. What can I give him if I can't afford a vet?

What medicine do I use for my dog because he has hives and I think it's from a spider and my parents can't afford to go to a veterinarian so is there a medicine that will stop it.The swelling went down a bit so it's hard to see the hives. Thank you for your time and please help me asap. He is a Chihuahua. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 7 months old | 10 lbs

If your dog is having an allergic reaction he needs to be seen by your vet. If you are unable to take him in you could try giving him some Benedryl. I would recommend calling your vet for the appropriate dose. If the hives worsen or Sebastian starts to have trouble breathing then you need to seek medical attention right away.
