My 7-month-old female dog has white discharge. Is it her first heat?

My staff is 7 months old and has developed white discharge. Is this the start of her first season?

It is hard to say for sure. This is an appropriate age to start her heat cycle but usually you see a mild brown or red discharge. IT is possible the discharge is normal or a mild vaginitis has started. I would recommend just monitoring it for now. IF it increases in amount, Nyla is urinating in house, licking herself a lot I would recommend taking her to a vet to make sure she does not have an infection
