My dog has a pink, bleeding lump on her leg. Is it a wart? What to do?

My dog has a wart like lump on her leg its pink with a blood spot in the middle of it, it has bled as ive seen two blood spots on her cover, its size is about half a centimetre, is this a wart and if so how does it get treated, she is a staffordshira bull terrier 1yr 2mths?

Please keep in mind that without seeing it in person or even a picture, I can't say if Luna has a wart or not. It certainly is possible that she does have a wart, but it could be another kind of benign tumor. I would have her seen by a vet for it. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. If it is a wart, typically it doesn't need to be removed surgically unless it's bothering her. You can talk to the vet about if it needs to be removed or not. I hope this helps!
