My dog has a painful hot spot after daycare. Should I see a vet?

I was gone for five days. I picked up my dog today from doggie daycare. I noticed a sore spot on his bottom. My cousin is a vet tech and she thinks it might be a hot spot. He acts like it hurts when he walks. Should I take him to the vet tonight? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 65 lbs

Ouch, poor Cash! That does look quite painful to him, and in the first picture you provided it looks very red and swollen. Based on that, yes I think it would be a good idea to have him seen by a vet tonight especially if he acts like it hurts when he walks. I wouldn't want to leave him in pain overnight, and getting treated as soon as possible would give him relief from the pain. I hope this helps and Cash feels better soon!
