Puppy got diarrhea from new food. Should I switch back or keep it?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 7 days old | 3 lbs

Had a Puppy (10 weeks old cavalier x pug) thurs evening I was told to feed him pedigree chum pouch and biscuits. He's got diarrhoea I've just realised we bought him complete biscuits. Ideally I'd like him on complete but happy to go with whatever is best for him. Should I continue with complete or switch back to mixer? Thanks

For now you should probably switch back to what he was on before as this is likely what is causing the diarrhea. ideally you would eventually want him on something better than Pedigree which is a relatively low quality food. some good brands i usually recommend include: Arden Grange, Barking Heads and James Welbeloved.
