Why is my lovebird sleeping on his back but still eating normally?

My love bird is sleeping on his back for 3 days and moving his tail up and down. But he is eating and drinking water normally, is he sick? What should I do and what medicine i can feed him. Please help me. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male

I have never seen a bird sleeping on his back before, this is usually a sign that the bird is dying so i am extremely surprised that he is eating and drinking normally. i cannot know what is causing this so i cannot advise you to give him any medication, it would be best to take him to an avian vet specialist in order to get it checked.
