Why is my puppy having watery diarrhea after recent vaccinations?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | spayed | 3 months and 13 days old | 54.3 lbs

Nova got diarrhea right after her rabies/DPP/ leptospirosis vaccine and this her fourth stool since vaccine that is watery and not hardening up. Vet said I should watch her for one more day Any suggestions?

Hello, sorry to hear about Nova. Vaccines can definitely cause GI upsets as a delayed allergic reaction. This is generally self limiting but most of the time involves vomiting and a decreased appetite. If it doesn't clear up then I would be concerned with something else going on with Nova. You should bring a stool sample to your veterinarian to check for any parasites, giardia, or coccidia that she may have picked up, as those can also be a cause of diarrhea especially in young puppies. Additionally, due to her age, monitoring for any lethargy and poor appetite may be an indication to also test for viral diseases. Hope this helps.
