My dog coughs, chokes, then vomits for days but still eats. Why?

Hello Doctor! My pet dog has been vomiting since 2-3 days now. It's not like she seems to be totally unwell. Moreover, she is also eating her food pretty well. But it is at times, when she does something which seems to be like coughing and choking at first, but later it leads her to vomit everything out. Also, from my previous knowledge she sometimes vomits when she eats green leaves. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 10 months old | 35.374 lbs

I am sorry Ozzy has been vomiting. It sounds like Ozzy has an upset stomach. A range of issues could cause vomiting like parasites, foreign object, gastric upset, infection and even anxiety. If she is having a severe cough this could also cause a vomiting episode. A cough could be related to infection, asthma, bronchitis, irritation of the trachea, and even esophagitis. I would recommend a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice for 1-2 days and an over the counter anti histamine and see if that helps. However if she continues to vomit or starts feeling worse I would recommend taking her to a vet for a good exam.
