Puppy has bloody stool, vomited blood, and is not playing. Should I worry?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 8 lbs

So yesterday and today my puppy had blood in his stool and I didn't really think anything of it. I thought maybe he ate something he shouldn't have when we wherent home but today he puked up something that looked like a blood clot not sure now he is just laying down and not play he is a very active puppy.

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to hear and see that Maximus is having problems. It's hard to tell from the pictures if that is blood or something else. Certainly, if you keep seeing what appears to be blood, you would want to get him checked out by your vet. They can perform an exam, run a fecal test for parasites (worms), and perform other tests to see what the problem is. Certainly dietary indiscretion or eating things that he is not supposed to eat can irritate the gut, parasites, toxins, infections, among other things can cause problems. I hope Maximus is ok and gets better soon.
