My dog is throwing up and tired after boarding. Should I be concerned?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Picked up my Boston terrier, 3 years old, from he vet. He was border there for 8 days, and seemed fine. Later that night he got sick and threw up. Then had breakfast. The next morning. He then got sick again around lunch time. He's tired and resting. Cause for concern?

It could be a cause for concern. If they fed him different food while he was boarding, he could be getting an upset stomach from the diet change. He also could have contracted something contagious while boarding or could have eaten something he shouldn't have. If he vomits again, I would recommend an exam by a vet. They may need to take x-rays to rule out an obstruction or at least get him some medications to make him feel better. Good luck and kisses to your fur baby!
