Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 27 days old | 2 lbs
My dog had squishy pooped on Monday night and then threw up early Tuesday morning after eating too much the night before. He did poop at all Tuesday and barely ate. Finally ate Wednesday (plain chicken) and pooped Wednesday but it was hard. Today he ate chicken and pumpkin purée to help his digestion but still no poop. His activity level is still the same. Is he having a problem with his digestive system or is he sick?

I am very sorry to hear that Milo is experiencing these problems, I am sure it is very unsettling for you both. Unfortunately, with a history of vomiting and diarrhoea, as well as a mic of constipation, over a 4 day period I advise you take Milo in to see his vet. There are a number of potentially very serious causes of such clinical signs, including pancreatistis, parasite infestation, infection, and ingestion of a toxin or poison. Your vet will be able to perform a physical exam and run diagnostic tests such as bloodwork to determine the cause of Milo's vomiting and diarrhoea. In the meantime you can continue the boiled chicken breast and white rice diet and provide plenty of fresh water. I hope that answer was helpful and more importantly that Milo feels better soon. Warmest regards to you both.
