My dog ate his bed stuffing. Should I worry or call the vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

A few hours ago my dog ripped open his You & Me Chewsy Snoozer Comfort Dog Mat which contains green fluff. Most of the stuffing was all over his cage. I am unsure if he physically ate any but I am worried that it may make him sick. Currently, he is eating, drinking water, sleeping, and going to the bathroom like he typically would. Is this worth checking out at the Animal hospital?

Monitor for lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea loss of appetite or abdominal pain for the next few days. You can feed a bulky diet (bits of bread, canned food, etc) to help push any bits of foam through. See your veterinarian if you see any of the above symptoms.
