My dog's nail bent, bled, swollen. Is it infected? Can I use peroxide?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 2 months old

My dog's nail bent sideways and bled a little. The entire nail is still attached, she seems to be running fine now but does get a little upset when i touch it, doesnt seem to bother he much anymore but it is a little swollen, and a little pussy, should i disinfect with peroxide?

HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You can clean it with hydrogen peroxide but she ultimately may need the nail cut back. If the skin remains swollen, red, infected or if she keeps licking it or limping she should be seen by your Veterinarian to have the nail evaluated. Good luck
