Pet's info: Dog | Great Dane | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 7 days old | 18 lbs
My 9wk old Great Dane WARRIOR, has severe swelling and puss on eyelids. I tried eye drops, benedryl, eye wash and it is getting worse. He got his shots last week and it seems like shortly after the sweelling started. Also my son has 2 kittens. Not sure if it is allergies from outside or kittens or shots or something else. I do not have much money due to waiting for work comp check, but I am extremely worried. What should I do? I appreciate any help PLEASE, He is my baby and I love him soooo much

I am so sorry your pet Warrior has what sounds like an eye infection and possible conjunctivitis. This usually only responds to prescription eye ointment from the vet. Here is a website link that will hopefully help you afford to get him in and be seen. http://m.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_veterinary_care.html In the meantime I would recommend just wiping the discharge with an over the counter eye wash for now. You can also continue the Benadryl in case this is an allergic reaction that then lead to a secodary infection. But chances are he has a corneal scratch or ulcer that is unrelated to his vaccines. You also may be able to find a low cost clinic in your area. Try to get him seen soon before this gets an worse. Best wishes and take care.
