Why is my dog tired with dark stool but still eating and drinking?

Lethargic in morning ,loose dark brown stool one time the dog is eating and drinking regular. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 5 years and 2 months old | 28.2 lbs

Hi there-dark brown stool is usually an indicator of a gi bleed in the intestinal tract. I would recommend taking Leah in to see her veterinarian for a fecal (to rule out parasites) and to make sure she doesn't have something like pancreatitis or HGE which can be pretty serious (may require blood work), etc. I hope this helps and Leah feels better soon.
